They probably want a classic echo nuke build.
What I use in SF, however, is a Double Glyph build:
Glyph of Energy (E)
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Meteor Shower
Rodgort's Invocation
Incendiary Bonds
Fireball
Heal Party
Rez
The big virtues of that build are that there is a lot of burning (good against high AL) and that there are no enchantments to strip.
Heal Party can also be swapped out for any of:
Gale (for more interruption)
Immolate (for a little more "damage")
Power Drain (for interrupt/energy gain)
Arcane Echo (for arguably more damage, and for the extra disruption of a double Meteor Shower)

I run this build for SF and anywhere else where I have to nuke.
Rebirth - or Mark of Rodgort
Elemental Attunement
Fire Attunement
Meteor Shower
Rodgort's Invocation
Fireball
Incidiary Bonds
Immolate
I don't echo or use renewal cause all to often the scatter will drive your warriors crazy...lol. Mark of Rodgort's is used only for Bosses. Just hit them with that and wand him if you are low on energy...the 22 sec constant burn (-7) pips should be enough for most bosses if you are running a little low on energy. Works great if you have a warrior with a fds. Hit the target with it and let the warrior finish it. I usually cast Meteor Shower, Rodgorts Invocation (AoE + Burn), Incindiary Bonds to kick off in 3 sec when Rodgorts ends(burn), Fireball for additional AoE dmg. Immolate for whoever is still standing after you and the ss have hit the group. Seems to always be 1 or 2 straglers that didn't take the full brunt of the barrage. BTW when you get ether prodigy{E} replace both attunements with that instead and add another dmg spell like flare or a defensive spell like lava font to protect yourself and the monk when the warrior loses aggro. Hope this helps.

Can you really run dual Attunements in SF? I thought there was too much enchantment stripping to make it work?
Also, a small logical error in what you typed -- by the time Incendiary Bonds is through casting, the burn on Rodgort's Invocation has stopped anyway.

yeah Rodgorts burn is over but you can't cast incindiary after Meteor shower cause the scatter won't let you burn all of em. I've found that rogorts right after meteor shower works best and then incindiary cause they will scatter right after rodgorts hit's. they then come back to incidiary for another burn. My mistake it's not a constant burn though =(. yes you can run dual attenments there...one acts as a buff for the other cause there is alot of stripping there. notice that i put use the dual attunements UNTIL you get ether prodigy? Ep won't let you spam as much but it free's up a slot which is always nice.

Another question -- what's with all these builds that don't have rez?

Flare
Fireball
Meteor
Meteor Shower
Echo [elite]
Mantra of Resolve
Rez Sig
But lately people rather have an SS necro than a nuker

As a caster I've always felt that Rebirth should be used instead of Rez since often times you and your fellow casters are the last standing. Some people don't feel they need it cause they think their sole purpose is to just nuke before getting nuked themselves. Unfortunately sometimes your the only one so you have to revive others constantly. Such as RoF mission where everone keeps dying. we've all been in countless groups with aggro monkies that get everyone killed constantly and you have to continually revive em after a retreat. I always include rebirth in mine and wish others would also instead of just relying on the monk. Heck i even bring heal party sometimes when we have an un-ideal group formed to help the monk out. whether or not a revival skill is brought is up to the player and what their goals are, that being said all the players bringing rez or rebirth would be a waste of skill slots though. I think as long as half the team has it then you should be ok.

ah...gotcha. Well I myself try not to archane echo anything cause of the cost of archane echo and exhaustion from 2 meteor showers it causes. Do you guys prefer the echo\renewal nuke just because it's 2 meteor showers or do you do it cause you think it works better for the team as a whole? I just don't see the logic behind it for a team cause of the exhaustion and excessive scatter. Holding aggro for a stance is much more difficult if they constantly scatter from my experience. I'd rather drop 1 meteor shower then burn the group. As long as targets are called then 1 should be plenty IMO.

I don't like fire nuking and I'm not experienced in it enough, so I'm not qualified to answer your question.
